Topic of Presentation: New vulnerability trends in massively used public technologies.

Language: English

Abstract:
The growing complexity of information technologies, its massive penetration, as well as ever-increasing computing power causes that (up until now) relatively safe technology is becoming vulnerable and the known theoretical attacks are becoming practically exploitable threats. The aim of this presentation is to highlight the real vulnerabilities of massively used technologies such as RFID smart cards, public SMS transport tickets, GSM/3G, biometric passports as well as the need of public openness for used technologies and the importance of public community feedback.
